We are excited to announce the winners of the 2025 NanoFlorida International Conference presentation awards! Oral Presentation Award Winners


The Oral Presentation Awards were given to individuals who not only showcased exceptional communication skills but also demonstrated a deep understanding of their research topics. The winners engaged the audience and inspired fellow researchers with their passion.

    • Awarded for his presentation on “Sh-RNA Dendriplexes for Treatment of SARS-CoV-2 Infection-induced Tau Pathology."


  • 2. Unaisah Vorajee - Florida State University

    • Awarded for her presentation, “Surface Passivation of Blue-Emitting Perovskite Nanoplatelets with Polysalt Ligand Complexes”

  • 2. Jorge David Tovar Castro - University of Miami

    • Awarded for his presentation, “Intranasal Vanilloid Nanodrugs for Rapid Therapeutic Hypothermia and Neuroprotection."


  • 3. Oscar Sang - University of Central Florida

    • Awarded for his presentation, "Nano-scale Spectroscopy and Imaging of Biological Assemblies.”

  • 3. Nina Erwin - University of Florida

    • Awarded for her presentation, “Nano-transfection for Cargo Loading of Extracellular Vesicles for Therapeutic Delivery.”


Poster Presentation Award Winners


The Poster Presentation Awards recognize the many wonderful presentations that demonstrated the research excellence on display at NanoFlorida 2025. Judges were impressed by how clearly participants communicated their ideas and the strong visual presentation incorporated into their posters.
